  • Data Security: We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.

  • No Third-Party Sharing: Customer data is used strictly for our internal business operations. We do not sell, rent, share, or trade your personal information or mobile data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

3. SMS/Text Messaging Terms

By providing your mobile phone number and opting into our communication program, you consent to receive text messages from Ron's Speedy Rooter & Plumbing Repair.

  • Message Types: You can expect to receive transaction-related messages, including appointment reminders, technician arrival updates, follow-up service notifications, informational updates, and occasional marketing offers.

  • Frequency Disclosure: Message frequency may vary depending on your interactions with us and the number of appointments booked.

  • Opt-Out Information: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to unsubscribe. After you send the SMS message STOP to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed.

4. Estimates, Pricing, and Booking

  • Estimates: Any estimate provided online or over the phone is a preliminary approximation. Final pricing will be determined on-site by a licensed technician before work begins.

  • California Home Improvement Contracts: For jobs exceeding $500 (including labor and materials), California law requires a written Home Improvement Contract (HIC) signed by both parties before work commences.

  • Service Fees: We reserve the right to charge a diagnostic or dispatch fee for on-site assessments, which will be communicated to you at the time of booking.

5. Payment Terms and Mechanic's Liens

  • Payment is due immediately upon completion of the services rendered unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

  • We accept [Cash, Check, Credit Cards, etc.].

  • Late Payments: Invoices unpaid after [X] days will accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month (or the maximum rate permitted by California law, whichever is lower).

  • Mechanic’s Liens: Under California law, contractors who are not paid for work performed have the right to enforce their claim for payment against your property. This is known as a Mechanic’s Lien.

6. Client Responsibilities

The client agrees to:

  • Provide our technicians with safe, unobstructed access to the work area, water shut-off valves, and utilities.

  • Secure all pets and ensure minors are supervised while technicians are on the property.

  • Obtain any necessary landlord or HOA approvals if you do not own the property.

7. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We require at least 24 hours' notice for the cancellation or rescheduling of a service appointment. Failure to provide timely notice may result in a cancellation fee.

8. Warranties and Guarantees

  • Workmanship: We guarantee our workmanship for a period of [e.g., 30 days / 1 year] from the date of service. If a defect in our workmanship arises during this period, we will correct it at no additional cost to you.

  • Materials: Warranties on parts, fixtures, and materials are provided solely by the manufacturer.

  • Exclusions: Our warranty does not cover damages caused by ordinary wear and tear, abuse, neglect, structural settling, or subsequent alterations performed by anyone other than Ron's Speedy Rooter & Plumbing Repair.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Ron's Speedy Rooter & Plumbing Repair shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for those specific services. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, including corroded, brittle, or sub-standard piping that breaks during routine handling or repair.
